Wondering how many folks here subscribe to one or the other methodology... and why? Is it your natural move or have you grooved the opposite thru range work?
Long and Loose guys... Watson, Snead, Daly, Els, Phil, Rory
Buggy whip ... Rahm, JB Holmes, Jason Day, Finau, Doug Sanders back in the day etc
I'm asking as I am working through moving to a shorter action. FWIW, My natural move is a big long across the line swing
I find the shorter move is easier ... no big miss left, better on the back, less swing thoughts, MORE speed, shallower at the bottom, better balance, easier to hit fades, more in sequence, etc etc
Right now I simply take it back three quarters (feels half way) then unload and unwind everything from the top as fast as I can
Would love to hear some other trial and error stories
