Anyone offended by Lori on Big Break? Still fuming about GC dissing Rocco

The worst thing for me is Big Break with Lori in spandex capri pants. She is built like Craig Stadler and is nasty as...... (name a nasty golfer - Faldo or Norman?)
If they just showed Sam most of the show it would be tolerable.

The one thing that I do miss about the Golf Channel, is the early morning Euro Tour coverage. Those announcers were interesting at times and you got to see golf on occasion instead of contrived nonsensical "graphics" like the "WIN ZONE!"
Cheers,

Wow....what an intelligent and accurate description of TGC.
I for one really enjoy TGC. Not to say it's perfect, of course there's some things I don't like, but overall I think it's great that I have a channel thats completely centered around golf. Granted I have it included in my cable, but if I had to pay for it separately, then I would. Just try to keep in mind before you resort to completely bashing what they do (especially that whole fake sportscenter/filmed in Wayne's basement thing....not sure what that's all about), that many people find these things that you call stupid very entertaining.

Keep in mind, this is an opinions based forum. And as such, for the most part, one person's opinion on the lesser qualities of TGC is no more and no less valid than another opinion on how enjoyable TGC may be. But the posts that really don't belong are the ones where people feel the need to critique the intelligence or lack thereof on another post - that is an opinion we do not need here.
If you want to espouse how great you think TGC is, then more power to you, go for it, just leave the personal attacks out of it. It's one of our basic rules here at golfwrx.

I never made any reference to the intelligence of the poster, merely the manner in which he expressed his opinion regarding TGC. I meant no offense, as I just felt the need to respond to what I believed to be a real tasteless description of TGC.
I read a whole lot more than I post on here......and I see many many responses to posts that are obvious 'personal attacks' as you put it. I find it very interesting, as in this case and others I've seen, that it's those of us who don't have alot of posts to our credit who seem to get the lectures when we supposedly are out of line with our words.

There is a huge difference between saying something ill advised in the heat of competition and coldly calculating your assiness. While both show a certain lack of sportsmanship, a good sportsman will make a mistake from time to time. A true a-hole will take the time to think about it and, after taking time to consider it, still behave in a classless and poor sportsmanlike way.
As for rules, it is hard to break them when you're not even playing golf. Besides, you are placing the ball in a marked area - not even dropping but placing. If that's not a teeing ground, what is? I think the "improving your lie" call was just as stupid as the "testing your line" call she tried to make.

well since TGC over seers did not see a need to correct Lori and co..I assumed they are part of the rules. It does seem silly since the objective is a skill test..not regular golf scoring..so why the rules of golf applies is beyond me.. but hey..they love the controversy and you are right. Lori is a b****..a terrible one at that..but you know they are all looking out for themselves...
