My regular Saturday group played here in S. Texas today, shot a decent 77. We were talking about how cold it is up north, and were thankful that we are able to play throughout the winter.

Leaving a vaca in Riviera Maya, Mexico and headed back home to Florida today. Feeling sorry about what you guys up North are shoveling. Hang in there, Spring weather is 6 weeks away.

I'm okay with the break and hibernating. But now as a club member I do really play with a vengeance come April-October..... Haven't swung a club since November November 4th (course closing).

I have a sister in Michigan and another in S. Dakota. Usually this time of year I use my old joke that it's 70 here but the windchill makes it feel like 70. But this polar surge is too much to even joke about. Just hope they make it through and the ground hog saves them tomorrow. Meanwhile my biggest decision is whether to take the convertible or the truck to golf tomorrow in case we get a few drops of rain in Phoenix... Weather, like golf, can be cruel at times...

i can handle the heat far better than cold. phx in summer? tee off at 11...course is dried out and can play in 3 hours...here in the austin area? maybe one day in 2 weeks it's too cold or rainy in winter. summer is awesome! i will admit that summer anywhere along the gulf coast is stunningly brutal, lol....the humidity is crushing...
