Anyone know if the insert feels firmer and provides more feedback than the previous version on the Exo putters without the stroke lab shaft?

Microhinge was firmer than EXO.

Stroke Labs insert is firmer than Microhinge. I like it (hated the EXO - way too soft for me).

I tried all 3 the other day- oworks, exo, and stroke lab. The exo and o works were way to mushy for my taste... the stroke lab was definetly firmer.

From the pics online both inserts on EXO and Stroke Lab say "White Hot Microhinge"  but the WRX consensus is the Stroke Lab is firmer.  Did Odyssey use a different material? Is it possible is just feels firmer because the Stroke Lab is balanced better? Maybe different metal materials on heads make the feel different?

Have played 2 rounds so far with my new Stroke Lab Double wide. The insert is definitely firmer with little feedback. The jury is still out on whether this stays in the bag. Great looking putter but so far not too impressed.

Feels great to me. I think is one of the better feeling inserts Odyssey has released. Sweet spot has a nice click to hit.

The grip isn’t for me. Not a fan of bigger, Winn style grips. Overall, I think Odyssey has hit a home run here.

Just hit a demo strokelab today. Definitely firmer that previous microhinge faces, which I couldn't stand.

I ordered one based on the WRX comments/reviews (haven't demoed or even seen in person).  Same grip, length, lie/loft specs as my EXO 7s.  Going to try for hours on the greens in the spring.  Will be a minimal loss if I decide to sell.

I really cannot tell any difference between the two inserts. I like the EXO buold better overall. To me the two inserts are either the same or close to it. Stroke Lab lignter shaft did not wow me. Did not feel like it smoothed out my stroke at all.

EXO heads are going to feel WAY different than Stroke Lab heads.  Just look at their construction.  A solid piece of metal like the Tuttle or #2...vs a multi material, bridge welded putter head...its going to feel different.

As for the Stroke Lab shaft.  While they feel great, I much prefer a constant weight putter shaft.  I dont believe I can control distance as well with a putter that swings so "heavy".

Firmer almost metallic feel from the insert, way better than the first mushy microhinge

Oh my...putt with the RBall.  It sounds like a tuning fork.  CHONNNGGG!

The Tuttle would probably have to be a solid piece of metal...why would they have an empty pocket of space in the center of the head.  I would be shocked if that was the case.

Its very solid feeling.

Why do P790 irons have a pocket in the head ?

Or Scotty Newports with bumpers to the heel and toe ?

Or the #7 with "tuning fork" sides ?

Tuttle could certainly have a scooped out area, possibly filled in with lighter material (or not), in the head, no ?
