Either one. They both got plenty of play on tour. It just really comes down to if you want to adjustability of the m3 over the 4. I usually always play the more adjustable driver like the m1 but I play a tour issue m4 and I love it. I can move the ball as needed for that hole. Hit both and decide.
Tour issue M4 8.5 w/ Kuro Kage dual core 70TX tipped 1 44
Tour issue M1 T3 14.3 Kuro Kage dual core 80TX tipped 1 42.5 or Diamana bf 80TX tipped 1
Tour issue TM m1 3HL 17.8 fujikura p95x tipped 1 41.75
TM 790 UDI x100 39.75
TM 750 tour Proto 3-pw tour issue x100
TM MG AB 54 Tour issue  x100
TM MG AB 60 tour issue x100
Nike method 001
Scotty Cameron select Newport 2

Both could be considered "players" drivers, in fact it seems like each has/had a relatively equal representation on tour this past year.  We'll see whether that holds with M5/M6, but that's the way it seemed with M3/M4.
Driver - Titleist TS3 9.5 (set to C1), either HZRDUS Smoke 70g 6.5 or HZRDUS Black 75g 6.5
3W - Tour Edge Exotics CBX 13.5*, HZRDUS Black 75g 6.5
2I - TaylorMade P790 UDI 17*, HZRDUS Black 85g 6.5
4I - PW - Mizuno JPX 900 Tour, KBS Tour 120
Wedges - Callaway Mack Daddy Forged (50.10, 54.10, 58.08), DG Tour Issue
Putter - TaylorMade Spider Tour Red Center Shaft
TaylorMade TP5x
