I hear ya, I’m talking about state Am events.  I don’t want to buy an expensive RF and not be able to use it in tournaments.

I hear ya, I'm talking about state Am events.  I don't want to buy an expensive RF and not be able to use it in tournaments.

I haven't had any problems or seen any problems with others when it comes to rangefinders in big amateur tournaments.

There really shouldn't be any issues, since the tech has been out for a while (the switch allowing tournament mode). Competitors should be aware, and organizing committees know of it

interesting - only thing I will buy is a laser this year - between this at whatever price vs whatever Precision Pro come out with a t a much cheaper price!

Didn’t realize that, I’m a Leupold guy myself.  Thought they had the colored faceplate to visibly show which mode your in but looking at the website I see the switch has been around for a while.

The Pro X2 has a solid feel to it but everything else has the flimsy plastic feel, thinking this one will be on the heavier solid side.

It's nothing special, the rep talks about the elements being the new factor in calculating distance and he sticks it to one of the legs of the tent. I have a screen recording, DM me your email if you wanna see it.

Even though the link doesn't work, it says buy from Bushnell / $550.
Another golf forum mentioned $549.99 being the price as well, so I'd be surprised if they raised the price before launch.

I'll be waiting to see the Precision Pro NX9 HD. I love my NX7 Pro, but with their 30% trade-in program, it may be worth an upgrade.

do you know anything more about he precision pro? I was chatting in emails to them and they said end of January details.

I agree, it’s pricey but nothing beats a Bushnell imho.

If it's so revolutionary, I'm really surprised they haven't shown a video comparing distances with the new range finder vs the old in places like Denver, or in the cold vs when it's warm, etc.
