It's similar in size to the SS pistol gt/gtr 1.0. I like the stitching on the GM better. The SS comes to more of point at the seam, if that makes sense. Plus the feel of the leather is superior to whatever the SS is, imo.
Contents of bag subject to change.

Just re-did a set of Karstens with Ping 5L series, very similar to Tour Velvet, thought it made them look a bit more authentic.
Tour Velvets on the Hogans.
currently playing:
Steelhead III - D
Warbirds, 3+, 4
Hogan BH-5, 3-PW
Wilson DynaPowered SW
Ping Anser
it works

when I need a change, there are 12 bags full to choose from .

Perfect Pro cords in green. They are great only thing I'd change for is if golf pride releases a BCT or Z-Cord align grip

I echo the recommendation for the tried and true Lamkin Crosslines. (Not the Utx, just the regular old Crosslines that have been around for decades). Wear like iron for me, but maintain good grippiness for a very long time even though I keep my clubs in very unfavorable conditions (either my car, or a garage attic.)

These last noticeably longer than GP Tour Velvets for me.

I have one on my driver, midsize MCC on rest of bag and a midsize MCC +4 on the L wedge.  Kind of like the Z cord the best other than the +4 is great for gripping down on a wedge.

Im taking the plunge. Switching from the simple GP Tour Velvet to the Grip Master Kidd. Im doing a couple clubs at a time and taking them to the range to see if I like them.

I also have a GM Tour Wrap that Im throwing on different irons to get idea of how they feel. To me, the Wraps are much bigger in my hands than the Kidd. Standard size.

Had GP Tour Velvet. No love or hate. Went to Dritac which I LOVED minus wear factor. Bought new irons and put 4 months on stock grips and will be putting a couple GP CP 2 wrap and trying them out.

I played PURE pros for the last 2-3 years and just switched out to leather Gripmasters in the fall.  I am elated with the leather and look forward to getting several years out of a set.  I was religious about new grips every year (the PUREs really didn't need to be changed annually even though I did, as they were the most durable rubber grip I have ever played and I play 100+ rounds a year) but now am looking forward to having a beautifully broken in set of grips that will get better with age!!!!  In the long run if I get 3 years out of the leather along with the cost savings of no longer needing to use a glove then the Gripmasters will actually save me money...never saw that one coming :)

Best grips microperf leather grips. i have played z-cords,Mcc and mcc align all last year to find something that my hands wouldn't slip on in the southern humidity. I was re-gripping a set of members clubs with Best Grips grips and i couldnt believe how sticky these things were and how sticky the other set he had on another set that we over a year old(plays 200+ rounds/ year). no more gloves, no more slipping hands.. well worth the $19 price tag!!

Another vote for Best Grips microperf.  I resisted leather grips for years despite a friends recommendation. I couldn’t try them with his club as he is a lefty.

Finally decided to give them a try. This was 5 years ago. Still have the same grips on my clubs and they seem to get better with age. They have less taper than regular grips. Like three layers of tape on the lower half so be certain you like that feel. Incredible in high humidity and wet conditions. Can maintain a light grip with no slippage when everyone else is losing their club. Maintenance is simply a wet towel wipe down a few times per year.

Downsides.
1. Initial cost
2. In cold weather, grip can feel hard. Still grippy but hard. Think New England in April, 40-50* but you just have to get out there!
3. Rubber cap on the top of the grip can wear through on the edges. Doesn’t affect the grip but looks a bit tatty. Has only happened on a couple of grips.

Have played Crossline Cord .580 with two wraps forever, but this year I'm going with MCC+4 with an extra wrap under the top hand this year.  Going with the align version on the irons and the standard on the woods and wedges.

Has been GP Tour Velvet, but am giving the GP CP2 wrap in Jumbo size a try this indoor season.  Borrowed a driver this fall with the jumbo cp2 and I hit it pretty, pretty well.
As well, I am experimenting with the Cobra One Length irons.
We shall see...

I'm going to try 2 Best grips.  Always use midsize grips, are the standard Best much larger than standard grips?  Is the oversize much larger than midsize?  Oversize black microperf are supposed to be in stock this week.
