Has anyone tried this ball? How does it compare to others? I stumbled on it in the Mizuno Experience Center in Atlanta...they were $45 perdozen, so I didn't buy and Im still in love with my Srixon XV.

I reckon this is a 2016 ball that didn't sell and they are still offloading their stocks. Hit the previous generation and it was a decent ball with amazing greenside spin..

Check the Mizuno Europe website.  They sell the ball there but it's not even mentioned on the US website.  Seems to be a urethane cover along the lines of the premium balls sold here in the States.

Just spoke to my pro.  He brought up the Mizuno ball.  Evidently it's coming to market in the US from Japan.  My guess is that it's been updated for '19.  He said the previous versions were outstanding and that Mizuno makes their own and like Titleist, is in charge of their process.

The previous MP series were as close to a ProV clone as you would find. Looked, felt and performed exactly the same. ProV with a roadrunner stamp.

It’s a really good ball, but it’s at least 3 years old now. Must Shirley be a new one just around the corner.

Have Mizuno rep buddy who mentioned these balls will be released in mid-March.  He claims they are as good as any ball currently on the market in the urethane cover category.  Given  the fact that he's never steered me wrong I give some credence to his claims.  May see them next week at the PGA show.

I've played them and they are a solid ball. Similar to a Pro Vx. I bought them in Japan. They have been out for about 3 years, so they must be due for a newer, improved version fairly soon.
