Looking for ball for next year and want to try out a firmer clicky ball. Are there any balls that feel firm off the face that still have the same spin and performance as the top tour balls?

Z Star XV? While I enjoy it, I know some others may view the ball as a bit firmer than they'd like

Second for the Vice Pro Plus. I didn't like them because there were too clicky. The TP5x is actually pretty soft IMO. My favorite. Just the right amount of feel.

Pro plus is solid but the cover shows wear way to quick.
Iíve never had the pleasure of Srixon XV but everyone loves them.
PROv1x is a choice always.
Some bridgestones I recall having some serious click to them but I found that a while ago and played only a few holes with it but I remember it well because it sounded like a marble

Try the Kirkland, Vice or Snell balls. They all have that clicky feeling to me and hence the reason I dont like them. Give them a shot and see if it suits what you are looking for.

Yep. Ditto.

Srixon XV.   That’s actually the ONLY thing I’m not crazy about with this ball. A bit clicky off the putter and short chips.

I’ve been playing them two years though and I have 20 dozen stocked up from the last sale.

You definitely sound like an XV user. I love this ball as it flat out performs . I love it most off the putter with that click you and a lot of us out there want. Soft off the other clubs but a little former than most for that feel off the putter .

This is a great ball, but it's the softest tour level ball you can buy.
I feel like the cover is soft as can be, but the ball itself feels very firm.
The newer gen not nearly so firm as prior gens, especially 15, which was super firm to me.
But again, I'm unsure as to compression, but really have found the cover and ball itself of totally different feel.
