I just saw that Forrest passed away last week. If you’re old enough to remember, he thumbed his nose at the USGA during the US Open, when he donned shorts and paraded up the 72nd fairway. The little guy had the legs to pull it off and he had enough game to back it up. He could hit it a long way. RIP Forrest...

Just read about him. Sounds like a real character! 69 is too young...too young...

Also the most upright swing ever seen.  Visited with him briefly at the Colonial back in the early 70's.  Nice guy, too bad.
