Has anyone ever come across this finish or more specifically know how we can try this at home? I love it and feel like it would be easy to maintain. Any info is welcomed. Thanks!

Simple...take it to a machine shop that has an industrial sand blast tank.  Use soft sand media to blast the head.  Then use a soda/glass water blaster to give a perfect dull sheen finish.

Looks like charcoal mist. Use a silicone spray to keep the rust out of the equation.

Check the COA in the registry.  That looks like a gun metal finish on matte stainless.  Like the other poster mentioned maybe a blast with certain media will leave that color, or it's just sand blasted matte and chemically colored or torched or some combination of those things to get that color.

Unless it's carbon and that's another ball of wax.

I think it’s just the lighting and that’s Scotty’s standard stainless finish. It just looks darker. All the blasting discussion is your best bet.

Im pretty sure that it is stainless. You would think its some sort of media blast or sanding but the finish is darker than you would think...

If you're dead set on that color you could have your putter coated with Cerakote or reach out to a refinisher like Putter Spa and see if they can mimic it.
