I just received the daily email from the Golf Channel highlighting Justin Leonards win at the St. Jude this past weekend. When I clicked on the whats in the bag it popped up with what I'm going to guess is his last win there...but it was kind of interesting to see what he used back in the day.

If you click on the little arrow it will update to his current lineup for the 2008 event.

Lol, I wish he was still using those clubs (I wish we all were!).

Justin and Davis Love III were two of the last players on tour using a wooden driver. What club did they both switch to? The 975D. How good was that driver!

  • My ex had an irrational phobia of salad cream. Honestly.

He was a stalwart of the wooden driver until that 975D came along. Langer and Forsbrand were the last two I remember seeing with a wooden driver.

That WITB of Leonard was essentially what he used at Troon when he won The Open.

I may be wrong, but it looked like he was still using that old Callaway Steelhead Plus 4 wood last week too.

The original poster didn't say Leonard is still using that equipment.
