Hi everyone,

I'm wondering about the age of my Ping Anser putter. The shaft has some rust, so I assume the putter has minimal value, but I was curious on what the screw in the shaft was for. Was this possibly a display model?

The putter you have is an early version of a fitting putter.

Probably late 90’s early 2000’s?

For sure fitting putter, no reason you can’t cut to length and change the grip.

Thanks for the responses. Any idea of what the screw in the shaft is for?
