Until very recently, Game Golf had used Google Earth's satellite imagery.  But it looks like they've now switched to Bing Maps imagery.

Yesterday, after syncing the data from my morning round at my usual/home course, many of the hole layouts that GameGolf's website was displaying on my screen were appearing way waaay off.

My home course underwent renovation last year and had only re-opened this June.  So when Game Golf displayed the pre-renovation course layout from a couple of years ago, it just seemed very illogical.  My last few rounds (end of November) had all appeared just fine with the current course layout.

I was still trying to figure it out this morning... when suddenly I noticed at the bottom right corner of the hole layout image the Bing logo and the words "Microsoft Corporation..."

Just wanted to post this as an FYI to GG users out there.

In general, I don't have any issues with Bing Maps.  However, in this particular case, the imagery that Bing is currently publishing for my home course is very outdated.
