I'm headed to a conference in Montreal the second week in April.  What is the growing season like?  Will any courses be playable?

It's very unlikely that anything worth playing will be open then unless there is an extremely unusually warm and early spring.

Yeah - slim to no chance of golf in April here. I got out “early” this season first week of May. So much snow...

I concur with the previous posts....very unlikely :(

So pray for an early spring and even then only courses that are not on the 'high' end as the playing conditions will be very muddy/soggy - so only those courses that are on the 'lower' tier.

Last 2 years at our club it started the last week of April with great conditions.  As others have said, if we have an early spring...I like to think positive and think that it is possible.
