I bought a $125 dollar set of Dunlop clubs last year that included driver, 3-wood, 4-hybrid, 6-P irons, and a putter. I've gotten to the point that i can break 100, and am eyeing a set of used TaylorMade rac LT irons, 5-P. The guy is asking $75, but is it worth it? Is the technology and quality difference between TaylorMade and Dunlop so big that 13 year irons would be better? It may be important to mention that I 3-putt every hole, I probably strike my irons like a 15 handicapper.

Thanks

Rac Lt was used on all the major tours. It is a brilliant club. I wish I had not sold mine. Buy them and enjoy.

On face value, the TM LT irons would be better than the Dunlop irons.

Most importantly, you should get the irons fitted in terms of length and lie.

Get newer irons that have fresh grooves and higher MOI.  Life is too short to play with 10 year old irons.
