A random one, but the peninsula of Washington. You can fly into SeaTac and drive out within an hour. If you want to do one "big" round, you have Chambers Bay, then can rent a house out on the peninsula (Bremerton, Kingston, Belfair, Port Orchard). There are stay and plays with Gold Mountain (I say the best value in the state, which has 36 holes), Home Course, Chambers, and you can also book on Salish Cliffs, McCormick Woods, Washington National.

In that area, I really like Trophy Lake. Great conditions, fun course.

You can rent Hickory clubs at Meadow Park just down the road from Chambers Bay. I'm sure they'd love to set something up for a group, they're a very welcoming crew: Hickory Experience
