I like it. But doubt it would give me an extra yard off a properly fitted G400 , new G410 or TM/Cally/TS2/3.

I was properly fitted for an LX model and gained 10 yards over my properly fitted G30, so you are correct.  Any properly fitted driver should be of help to any player.

One thing about the PXG drivers is they feel very solid.  0811 spun too much for me maybe will try X with Heroes.  Heck you can get a $175-200 shaft in it

Some people dislike the muted sound, but that’s one of the things I like the most.

It looks like a combo Nike Vapor Flex 440 and Ping G400, which is not a bad thing...

How is that not a direct ripoff of the Ping G crown design? Its eerily similar with the dots and everything on the crown. Wow.

The current XF might be the best sounding driver out there

Funny isn’t it. People on here crave holtmelted heads so they sound like the muted drivers you see on tv, then because PXG is the brand that decides to release one that fits the bill, people complain. I bet if TM, Ping or Callaway released a driver that sounded muted like a PXG they’d go crazy for it. I guess PXG can’t win whatever they do in the eyes of some folk.

Actually those numbers are legit and it may even be more.  Ryan Moore went from short hitter to slightly longer than average hitter, I used to follow his driving stats because he was the only driver that I could relate to, he seems to have picked up about 6-8mph of ball speed and I noticed that his launch is lower and there is way more rollout.  Not sure if it is the new driver or new technique or just a new workout but he is significantly longer this year.

If this Driver is any improvement over the G400Max Driver I have right now then I would have some interest.    The G400Max makes it almost down right impossible to miss a fairway.

Ryan Moore was getting about 50 yds off roll on the low looking bullets he was hitting off the tee.

They should have used the Darkness Skull as the alignment aid.

That or a small version of their logo would have been better.

IMO, it would be a winner if it didnt have all the screws on the sole, was a bonded hosel, and had a smaller understated pxg logo on it. Id pay for that regardless of it having resemblance of other drivers!
I think getting advice from guys who are sitting at the computer in their underwear while taking a break from porn is a very solid way to choose clubs. - bluedot
