Going to Vegas with plans to play twice. I am definitely going to play at Nellis Air Force Base one of the two days. For the other, I was looking at either Tuscany, Desert Pines or Silverstone. I'm trying to keep the price reasonable (less than $60 per). Comments? Reviews? Other ideas?

There is nothing decent under $60 for non-locals in Vegas. Hardy anything under $100 really.
Nellis is impossible to get on without a current military ID or playing with someone with one. This course will be the cheapest in town. Your only other options are Las Vegas Golf Club (Muni), Desert Rose (also a muni) and maybe Boulder City.
Vegas is not synonymous with cheap or reasonable golf.

Terpman,
Give me a shout if you want to play Silverstone since I'm a member there. It's a fun course, just came back from a round. As VegasGolfer correctly stated, the rates are starting to drop so even non-locals pay less than $60. You can actually play some courses anytime of the year for $30 whether you are a local or not, you just have to know where to go. :
