These are growing on me. Does anyone else think satin clubs lose their luster too quick? I mean they are gorgeous initially, then 3 months later, someone asks you if you are getting new irons soon?

Man they are absolutely gorgeous.

As a 20 or so handicap, would I have any business playing the hot metal variety of this? Decent iron player, current playing the Adam's XTD A-tour's, mostly struggle to get off the tee.

That is exactly what I am thinking! I game the 900 Tour but the offset is starting to annoy me. I was hoping the 919 would have less but it seems like it's the exact same.... More offset than the AP2. They would have at least made the tours similar in offset to the mp line. I am majorly bummed

I have not hit the 919's but the 900 Hot Metals are very forgiving........probably not far behind the Ping G range, which is the gold standard in forgiveness in my book.

Definitely. If they're as good as the 900s then buy these all day long. 900HM and Forged are two of the best looking and performing irons I've ever hit. Hard to describe exactly what it is that makes them so good but look, sound, feel, distance, dispersion...there's no compromise.

What is going on here? No number on the sole of the club and it looks like the initials stamped on the back removed some of the finish?

2C8E5326-EEAA-40AF-8C4B-34B3AFC1F68A.jpeg

The font of the number on the soles of the 3 iron is different than the number on the sole of the 4 iron. Special sole grind?

I was hoping Brooks will be the 1st to play these, but since he's on a roll, he might wait until the Ryder Cup is over before switching......

Assuming font of the 3 iron is different since there appears to not be a stock 3 iron in the 919 Forged.  A 1-off build of some sort.
