I noticed that the vast majority of LPGA pros use the ball marks attached to the bills of their caps/visors. However, the same can't be said of the PGA pros.

Why do you think that is? Do you use a visor ball mark?

No. I wear golf attire with big pockets.

Some of the Player's the LPGA couldn't fit so much as a dime in their pockets, if they have any at all. (pockets not dimes)

i would wager to guess that the ladies either A) don't have pockets on some of those skirts or B) aren't used to having things jiggling around in their pockets.

i carry one thing in my pocket and that's a divot tool. i use a clip on my cap for my mark and stick my tee (single form...Zero Friction baby!) in my ponytail. sometimes i'll stick a pencil in it too.

you guys are used to having car keys and loose change etc. in your pockets. i couldn't deal with all that in my pocket. probably because i carry a purse that holds all that stuff. and the other day i cleaned it out and found that missing tv remote.

Interesting answers. If ladies skirts don't have pockets, where do they keep divot repair tools (I already know now, thanks to imsocrabby, where they may keep tees and pencils)?

some skirts do have pockets. they probably keep the divot tool in a pocket. divot tools are fairly slim and can slide in the tiniest of pockets. you'll also notice that alot of lpga'ers keep their yardage books and score card in the back pocket.

between holes, you'll also notice that a lot of the ladies don't put the ball in their pocket.....they slide it under the leg of the compression shorts under their skirts.

details.

Iv'e seen some gals keep pencils and tee's in their shoe laces.

As for score cards....tuck in their golf bags I guess?

But if they keep a divot tool in their pocket, wouldn't a ball mark be even less of a nuisance (it's smaller, flatter, etc.)?

Good point about the yardage books in their back pockets. I would've thought that would be even more of a nuisance than a ball mark in a pocket.

About the ball under the compression shorts, that would really bug me more than having a ball mark in my pocket.

Interesting details. I wonder if anyone (especially women) would think less of men if they used a ball mark attached to the clip of their caps. Would you imsocrabby (just curious)? Thanks.

i find that it is much easier to keep the ball mark on my cap. that way...i'm not digging around in my pocket all the time. the less i have to fish something out of my pocket...the better. it seems ladies clothing it as loosely fit as men's. hmmm....i wonder why that is??? ;)

as far as men and the ball mark.....i dunno. never really thought about it. i wouldn't think any less of a guy because he used one. i guess i'll pay more attention to where they keep their mark. i know we sell a crap load of them in our shop. guys are buying them all the time.

i have a couple of skirts that have no pockets and i do slide the ball under the shorts between holes. kinda handy. weird for you guys to understand i'm sure. but the ladies are used to wearing all sorts of different crap so we're kind of used to it.

I use the hat brim ball marker. I hate having anything in my pockets when I'm playing. Slide my tee's between my ear and hat.

Hat Clips are becoming more and more of a fashion statement, especially regarding women golfers....
