Not sure if this is the appropriate yopic, but this week Iíll be caddying for an LPGA pro in the event in Indianapolis. They have a list of caddies in the area that if something happens we can step in, like if a player is caddie is not able to make it.

So this week, Iíll be on the bag of a professional golfer. Itís a cool experience, and I was wondering if any of you have had the opportunity to caddy in a professional event? Whatís it like? Iíll try and post each day about what happens if you would be interested in that. It will be a neat little look into a week on the LPGA tour.

Caddied in June at the Quicken Loans (PGA).

Cool experience. My player got his own yardages but leaned on me for every read and basically kind of confirmed what he saw to what i saw. Wind direction was pretty crucial too so make sure you double check that as best you can.

Otherwise, just keep up with your player, dont ask too many questions and if they ask you something be direct in your words and confidence in your voice.

Also, make sure if you have crowds following you to keep an eye on people talking as your player does their pre-shot routine and is getting prepared to hit.

Have fun and good luck

Very cool.  I'd probably be more nervous than the player.  It's like recommending a movie; if the other person hates it I just ruined two hours of their life.

Ended yesterday at E, today -1. Just had a few shots that cost us. 3 3 putts did her in and a shanky 5I on 16 today that led to a bad leave and double.

Cut looks to be at -3, Play is delayed right now and some havenít teed off.

Will update tonight or tomorrow with a full recap and pictures!

You could easily end up caddying for eight different players.

Does she not have a regular caddy?

I noticed on TV that Yani is using Lincicome’s caddy this week, so maybe not uncommon for some not to have a regular.
