Just curious how many WRXers are heading to Myrtle Beach for the World Am in a couple weeks. I'll be playing for the first time since 2014 and I'm really excited to participate again.

If you're going to be playing, best of luck in your preparation and in the event and maybe I'll see you one evening at the World's Largest 19th Hole!

Just saw this. I played in the world am for the first time this year.

I'm not a tournament golfer and didn't know what to expect. It was a fun time and I met some great guys. Played 2 good courses and 2 average courses. Other than pace of play, which was usually 5 to 5 1/4 hours I thought it was a good tournament. Seems like thats about normal pace from talking to other several people.

I finished 2nd in my flight but 5 behind the winner with no real chance to catch him. I had a bad 2nd round so going into the 4th round I was T4 6 back of the leader.

Overall I was happy with the way I played and surprised how nervous I was on the back 9 the last day, something I have never experienced.

I hope you had a good tournament and played well.

I was there as well. I did enjoy. Didn't play well at all, but not knowing what to expect didn't help! For what they were doing, I think they did a pretty good job. I had one course with inconsistent greens, but other than that I was pretty pleased. I look forward to going back next year with a realistic idea of what to expect (well maybe besides which golfer shows up).

Rounds were slow, but I guess somewhat expected.
