Playing last week at Eagle Mountain in AZ. Push first drive, think it might be lost in the desert. Hit second , big slice we know it's in the s**t, hit third big hook that we see hit and come back. So now laying five, if we don't find the first. . Find the original inches short of the desert, but playable in the sand. just a wedge out to the fairway. PW to the green , 2 putts for bogey.

Went from maybe a 9-10 to a bogey

I had a bogey on a par 5 last year where each of my first four shots hit a different tree.  First three deflected back toward the fairway, and my fourth went long and hit a tree behind the green that knocked it back toward the green.  Up and down for bogey and ran to the next tee before my luck ran out.

210 yard par 3, hit tee shot in greenside bunker, bunker is very deep and can't even see the top of the flagstick.

Hit first bunker shot to lip of the bunker, doesn't clear the lip, rolls back to where I'm hitting from.

Third shot, same result....

Fourth shot, slam dunk into the cup for bogey.

High fives to playing partners and off to the next tee.

Chip in for a bogey after putting 2nd shot over green, 3rd shot over the front of green , 4th shot over the back of green, then chipped it in.

I had a really strange double bogey in a tournament once. Blocked a 6 iron on par 3 into a muddy wooded area. Found the ball and had a pretty routine shot and chunked it into a terrible spot in the woods, was now in some long grass in the woods and left my 3rd shot in the long grass, and then got the next one out on the green 35 feet away. Didn't even read the putt, just tried to get the speed right, and some how made it. Turned a potential 7 into a 5.

Had one two weeks ago. Par 4 up hill, not long, 341 yards. I pulled my tee shot way left into the fairway of the next hole.

I have about 175 yards to the green, try to hit a 5-iron over a tall tree and instead went right into the middle of it. Neither I nor my playing partners saw it come down but we heard it rattle a couple of times.

Group in front of us has made it to the tee box and calls out that there's a ball up by them.

Sure enough, it's mine and I'm lying by their tee box about 100 yards from my green.

Hit a wedge to the green, just missed the long par putt and tapped in for a two-putt bogey.

I don't recall one really but speaking of bogeys, just this week on our long par four 4th I pushed my drive into the trees and had to pitch back out into the fairway still 30 yds back of where my buddy BOOMED a big drive dead center. I caught my 5 iron a bit fat and didn't get it there. My buddy hits a nice shot to the front of the green. I wedged it 10ft past the hole and made the bogey putt. My buddy three-jacked it for matching bogey.

Ain't that golf?

One of my league partners won the closest-to-the-pin a few weeks ago and three putted for bogey from 4. I told him he better not leave the birdie putt short since skins pay much more than the closest to the pin and he got a little over enthusiastic.

Wasn't mine but guy I played with last weekend... Par 3 with water in front, hits his tee shot into the hazard, drops behind it, tops his next shot back into the hazard but somehow it kinda skips to the bank on the far side in some really gnarly weeds. He decides to play it out of the hazard since he doesn't want to have to try to play the delicate chip over it again. Basically takes a full swing blast, ball comes out high but with zero spin and somehow caches the contours of the green to guide it to the hole. So a bogey 4 with two balls in the hazard ha.

Mayby not my strangest but definitely my luckiest.170ydr par 3 with woods on either side and directly to the right of the green is about a 30 ft. Deep gully..pushed my tee shot into the bottom. Had about 30 yes to the pin with 30 to 40 ft of elevation change and only had about a 2 ft. window between trees to which I could realistically get close. Hit it perfectly. Stopped about 20 ft. Out and 2 putter for bogey.

480 yd  par 4, push a drive into the neighboring fairway but still have tree trouble coming back toward the green from 225, absolutely laser a second shot 2 iron right into the top middle of a tree I was trying to carry and it bounces back past me. Calmly take 5 steps back and laser another 2 iron from 230 this time and it just clears the same tree dead on line to the middle of the green.

Walk up and my ball is 3 feet from the cup. Proceed to dead push the putt and tap in for bogey.
