Putting Rogue Black shafts in my 3 and 5 woods and dumping the stock factory shafts that came with them.  Both were fine shafts (and probably perfect for someone else's swing), but that Rogue Black produces repeatable results for me in fairway woods.  It's reduced my tendency to lay-up on a long approach significantly, as I'm so confident with those shafts I'm now going for it now far more often (and with some success!).

Driver Number One:  Titleist 910 D2 with Rogue Max Low shaft
Driver Number Two:  Titleist 910 D3 with RIP Alpha
Mizuno MP 54 P-4
Titleist 915 F 3 wood with Rogue Black
Epic 5 wood with Rogue Black
Titleist 915 F 7 wood (the incredible Hedgehog...there is no turf that can stop the Hedgehog!)
Miura 56 K
Vokey gap and 62 M
Spider putter (first new putter in 14 years in 2016, after 14 years with the same Voodoo Never Compromise)

1. Changed my Putter from ping Redwood to the Odyssey RX9; making more putts.

2. Changed my MDF to the RTX 3.0 in the SW and LW; more versatile grind leading to more up and downs.

3. Changed from Mizuno 900 Tours to the MP 18 MB; found out the project x LZ shaft was the perfect fit for me.

4. Got the Tensei CK white shaft in a 75 gram shaft on order as a heavy shaft is the only thing that can reduce my spin rate to below 3000 rpm.

Edited by Chuck905, 31 July 2018 - 09:17 PM.

Epic SZ 10*, Tensei White 75
Epic SZ Strong 3 Wood, 13.5*
U45 17*, Recoil 110

Mizuno T7s 54-8 SW and 58-12 LW
Odyssey RX9

shaft changes were huge. Fujikura TS 90, Kuro Kage 80 FW shaft changes were amazing.

Edel wedges. About to drop the third in the bag.  Although if I keep hitting the i500s the way I did today on the first outing, that might get a new #1 crowned.

I bought a laser range finder. I still wear my gps watch for comfort but the range finder has proved to be more accurate with those questionable readings.

I love my clicgear as well. It does everything. Holds my bag, cooler, scorecard, tees, and balls. I bought the GPS attachment for it and I just attach my phone to it. Best thing I've bought for golf in a long time probably. Other than my Spider tour.

I wish I could say it was my putter as I did switch to a Bettinardi Arramgedon BB56 putter which I really like everything about it but what really has made a difference has been my TM P790's with Recoil shafts as these have help give me more birdie opportunities than ever before. Then it would have to be my TM M3 9.5* with UST Attas Cool shaft. This has been a nice addition as it's the most forgiving TM driver I've ever hit and it will hang right with some of the other longest drivers I've ever owned.

Most definitely dropping my traditional three wood and adding a TM SLDR Mini Driver. Gave me a super-reliable tee shot that I use way more than I thought I would.

Either figuring out which hybrids suit my game after 2 years of sampling (old X-hot or new Cobra F-max) , or my Odyssey O-works #2. Made a huge difference.

I’ve got several but the main one was giving up on the hybrids and moving to long irons. Had no idea for me, that would be such a game changer.

Searching out a nice Titleist 909 H 21*, something I should have done a couple of years back. Finally found one the flea bay, stock Diamana R shaft, which is exactly what I should have purchased awhile ago. Replaced my 4 iron, and has been the most reliable club in my bag all season. Also love it for those little bumps around the greens. Might not be brand new, but it's a nice new addition to my bag this year.
