Well, I thought this would be an "out there" post until I saw the thread title on swamp***.

Anyways, I have light skin and large dark nipples.  I hate it when white shirts are sheer enough to see the nips.  But I like white polos. Matches with everything.

Anyone have a suggestion on a brand with more "robust" fabric?

Thanks!

Buy a white shirt that has a colored or patterned front.

In all seriousness, Nike has a new polo out called the AeroReact Momentum - its a thicker fabric and won't show your dark nipples.

Greyson is also not even remotely see-through.

I wear UA heat gear under shirts under all of my polo's, definitely helps with white.  They also help keep sweat stains off the top layer.

I haven't worn white shirts (golf polos, t-shirts, button downs, etc) in probably 5 years. I get, maybe, 2 or 3 wears before developing bright yellow pit stains.

Sad though it may be, some people just don't need to wear some clothes.

My hair and skin are brown. I look terrible in beige, brown, light olive, etc, though my eye is drawn to those colors and I often see other people wearing those colors and want to try again. Alas it just isn't going to work for me.

Maybe in my next lifetime.

I also cannot buy white golf shirts or even ones that have white in the upper part by the arm pits or shoulders. Within in a few rounds they will either get brown pit stains from my sweat or black stains on the shoulders from my carry bag straps. These stains would not come out in the wash.

Consider using  deodorants that are  antiperspirant free. Or antiperspirant   brands designed not to stain white clothing. The aluminum often used in antiperspirants is  what causes the stains more so  than your sweat alone. It's the aluminum that  mixes with the proteins in your sweat that causes the reaction that leads to the brown/yellow stains.  Lose he aluminum prevent the staining.

This made me remember the scandal that broke out when President Obama wore a tan suit! Wow. Glad we don't have to relive those scandals again!

There has to be some type of surgery to color your nipples.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue. I just avoid white polos. Unfortunately I have to wear white dress shirts a lot for work. I always make sure I’m wearing my suit coat though so no worries. Good luck to you. I’ve never won this battle, haha!

OP, we need your essential stats, favorite color, turn ons and turn offs to get the complete picture here.

And based on your limited info, I'm getting my wife some white shirts!

I had to open WRX and show my wife these two threads for her to believe me that these were real topics. She was even more surprised that I replied t them.
