I have looked for a thread on this and really didnt see too much, hopefully I didn't miss it....

In you opinion, what are the top 5 custom milled putter companies out there?  And why?

Bettinardi is one of the 5 for sure.

All three and a wonderful feel.  I had a choice to get the Betti or the Piretti and chose the Piretti for cost reasons (on sale for $240).  Its great and I love it, but the Betti may have been better.

I've owned and played them all.  Best three of the smaller, custom makers for me are Byron Morgan, T.P. Mills, Bettinardi.  Others are good putters, too, but these represent the top tier in my view.

Byron carbons are pretty tough to beat in my mind for custom makers

The Edel Classic line is outstanding. I have their Rogue head an Anser with the trailing edge curved in.

I really like the TP mills lineup....not sure where I could test them though
