How do these compare to the iblades or s-55's in regards to their overall size?  Are they larger like the i200's, or more compact???

Those look really nice! I hope they are more forgiving than they look.  How did they feel when you hit them??

Any idea what the headweight is without the toe screw please. Swingweight has been a big issue for me and I'm hoping this system will allow them more scope to accommodate longer clubs

Wowzers.  Those look great.  Appears to be pretty minimal offset as well.  Certainly has potential.

They look great. I’m curious about the finish and the smudge (?) marks on the back of the wedge.

Was thinking about the weighting issue as well.  With no tuning port to adjust weights how will they do it with these?  Obviously if they are hollow hot melt to add weight, but how do you go lower?  Perhaps they have different weighted screws??  “Standard” screw is like 8 grams but you can go down to 2 gram.  That would allow a 3 SW point drop, or 1/2 inch over at no SW increase.

Just thinking out loud...

They do look nice.  Not crazy about the lower toe area bulging out a bit.

Basically a PXG 0311T fighter I guess.  No magic goo inside though. Too bad.

I thought that I read somewhere on this site that Ping is injecting a substance into all of the heads to improve both sound and distance. Ping is calling it "Speed Air". It's the magical air from Arizona. The best part is that it doesn't affect the swing weight of clubs. :taunt:

Do you know this for a fact or speculating?

From a tech standpoint all they need to do is make the heads light.  Just like they do now with their other irons.  Weight can be added via Hotmelt in the same way Ping uses various weight CTP inserts with their other irons in order to fine tune.

Will Ping begin to offer custom paint inlay on the i500 etching?

Maybe something to consider.

I think some red or blue could add some flavor for the right buyer.

Matt Wallace won with that setup on European tour last week....after seeing pics however, I'm wondering if there will be a need to combo them...gives me the impression these are more inline with 0311T irons from pxg than they are 790s....more to come I guess
