I bought an old staff bag from a thrift store and found this in the pocket. Is this actually a golf ball used by Tiger Woods? I am not sure why someone else would put 'TIGER' on their golf balls, but I'm sure it's been done. Any thoughts on how to verify?

Thanks

Sorry but no chance. It's most likely a ball from a commemorative set Nike put out in the early 2000's.

I assumed not considering it has the stamp on the side. Can't imagine Tiger playing with that.

A commemorative set makes perfect sense. Thanks!

Tiger does use a ball that has "TIGER" as a side stamp. He has for some time. What he wouldn't do is play a ball commemorating his 2000 PGA win lol. Other players on tour have custom marked balls that are used in competition.

You can buy them from Bridgestone with TIGER stamped on the ball for an extra fiver per dozen.

The commemorative bit is what I was talking about, should've been more clear. I'm aware Tiger gets TIGER printed on them.
