I am looking for a new cart bag as my Ogio is getting worn out. The new Sun Mountain C-130 Super Charged is looking really nice. What is your favorite cart bag???

Sun Mountain Sync.
https://www.carlsgol...ByABEgKEavD_BwE
The C-130 is just too big for my liking, and this one is similar to it but trim down and smaller. The reason it is called the Sync is because it synchronizes to there pushcart by way of a keyed pattern on the bottom of the bag. So it is meant for a power cart and can also be used on their push cart as well. They are very stylish and practical. As you know Sun Mountain makes some of the nicest golf bags on the market.

I had a C-130 and it is big. I now have a sync and have had it for awhile. Thought I was gonna walk with my pushcart some but it’s just not gonna happen. The only thing I dislike is the top isn’t angled at all and the shorter wedges hardly touch the bottom and the clubface basically rests on top of the divider. If I was gonna get a new bag now I may go back to a C-130 or look at a ping pioneer.

C-130.

I’m not sure what else I could reasonably want from a cart bag.  Lots of room for everything, good color choices, pretty durable despite baking in 95 plus degree weather all summer.

We have clubmaxx bags, very similar design.  You can spot a missing club almost instantly.  Our first set lasted over 5 years, bought 2 more on ebay which we finally broke out this year.  No club noise is awesome.

I just returned a Titleist Club 7. On paper it looked like it was going to fit the bill and I knew I didn’t want a 14 way top. The problem was that they have a pretty big putter well with a shape that made the slots on either side of it a weird shape. The clubs I had in those slots tended to stack on each other and get stuck. Nice bag but I think a little bit of a design flaw once I used it. Brought the bag back and traded in a few clubs and went with the Mid Staff bag. Much better construction and layout and the space I need.

C130 nuff said.  It's big when want or need to be (rain, winter, summer, outings, etc.) but if don't load it up, it's not that big nor heavy.  Nice to have the capacity, holds up well, has a place for everything.

Another vote for the SM Sync. I have been using the C130S for a few months now and Iím not thrilled with the dividers or the way the clubs nearest the legs sit up high due to the bottom design. The Sync is really more the C130S without legs than the C130 in my opinion. The C130 just looks and functions way too large for me.

I'd probably go with a Bennington Quiet Organizer of some sort, probably a 14 Lite.  I really liked the Ogio Silencer but the mechanism started losing grip on individual slots within 4 months and had lost it on 6 or 7 slots within 8 months... unfortunately they didn't have any in stock at the time for warranty replacement at the time (last fall) so I ended up back in regular 14-way Cart and Wood-E stand along with iron covers for now.  The Bennington Quiet Organizer system offers equivalent chatter elimination (though in a different layout) without relying on a mechanical system with moving parts... gravity and the shape of the top of the dividers keep everything in place.

That said, if I really had the money to spend, I'd probably go with a Vessel Lux Cart Custom... other than the Mizuno Pro Cart, it's the only staff-bag quality cart-bag I've seen with 14-way dividers.

A friend of mine won a Kahma C5 bag in 2014 and immediately put it into use. While I've been bagging a C130 in various forms for years, the Kahma is a little smaller, holds as much if not more, and certainly has a unique way to separate your irons that I actually like. In a word or three, I like it. While I'm not quite ready to trash my C-130 Ultimate, I am seriously considering a new C20 when replacement is necessary.
