If you ordered a set of 565's my recommendation would be to get a 48 degree pitching wedge instead of using the sets gap. I found it to be much more consistent than the chuncky 50 degree two piece wedge.

I agree with the OP and get sick of hearing "don't get hung up on the number on the bottom of the club".

4-Pw in the old lofts is not the same as 5-Gw in the modern lofts. A PW seems to range from anywhere from 43-47° these days most often 44-46 but the set Gap wedge still seems  to be sacrosanct at approx 50°.

Thank you. This is true. Looks like from the feedback I am looking at the Srixons and maybe Titleist.

So you are looking at Srixon or Titleist but not i200s. Weird. Good luck with your journey.

Have you thought about having Ping build you a set of G400s to your G25 specs? They can bend the individual irons differently through the set to match the old G25 set. Get your same lie angle and overall length and be good to go.

I have hit the iPINGS and for some reason I did not get along with them so well. I was able to handle the Srizons today and they are nice. Ordered a set so we will see. Plan on keeping the PINGS as well - just in case.

Congratulations! :good:

Mizuno Hot Metals 1* weak would have been my vote (22* 4i and 46* PW once bent).  Stupid easy to hit, very easy to elevate, and they feel just as good if not better than most forged offerings out at the moment. I've sold a ton of these and they just go and go and go, at the same loft they are longer, spin more, and launch higher than pretty much anything out there.

You can always custom order clubs and bend a couple of clubs to meet your needs.
