Replaced my Jones bag with this Ping Hoofer.

Trying to find a set of covers which looks good with bag.

Appreciate your vote/advice.

Keep in mind covers are sized for persimmon woods so newer covers (modern sized gear) aren't an option for recommendation.

Thanks!

Buzz personally I liked your Jones bag but that Hoofer aint bad either. I know exactly what you are talking about with the persimmon woods though. As for me I am pretty old school myself. For me nothing goes with a Ping bag like the fuzzy Ping barrell covers. I was thinking they still made those. I do know I see them from time to time NOS on E-Bay. I pick up everyone I see at the thrifts but do not have any matching sets. May have to go the custom route with Stitch or Seamus on that. For some reason none that you picturered did anything for me

Since you asked.  If those are the only two options, definitely the second set.  Although I voted "keep looking".  The first look like ladies head covers, with the fuzzy bottoms.  Suggest finding some h/c's that are a better color match (from what can be discerned from the pics).  Black goes with virtually every bag.  Find yourself a nice set of Hot-Z head covers, black with golf piping.  Black knits with pom is another nice look for a classic kit.  Mix and match.

Scrounge around at some thrift stores in your area.  A goto source for vintage head covers on the cheap.  Stu's suggestion of the Ping fuzzy's will work.  Cheap generic fuzzy's do not.

Appreciate the advice from you both.  I've decided to go with the Ping barrel style and thanks again!
