Wanted to get thoughts on people of have tried the new US Kids TS3 irons vs Flynn Series 2b or 3 looking for the next set of irons. Current set is Flynn Series 2 about a 1/2 short of 54" US Kids specs will need new irons in a few months.

My son uses the 54" flynn with series 2 head.  He's very used to it now, so much that he finds the US Kids TS2 very awkward and too whippy.  Not saying one is better over the other, but I'm guessing the 2b/3 vs TS3 will be similar.

My kids have used both US kids and Flynn clubs. Iíve always thought the Flynn clubs were a little heavier but made better. The graphite shafts in the Flynn clubs were real graphite shafts where the ones in the US kids were not. The customer service was great from Flynn and the ability to pick the shaft and grip colors were big with my daughter. The new US kids clubs look really nice and I donít think you can go wrong either way. I would imagine that Flynn will be coming out with a new model sometime soon just to counter what US kids did.

USKids Tour Series have graphite shafts for all clubs until you get to the 57 size then you have the option of steel shafts. The new TS3 versions are very good irons and definitely an improvement on the previous models (details of the TS3 vs prior model plus review at this post: https://thejuniorgolfer.com/uskids-ts3). In general we find kids that try both irons like the feel of the USKids heads but Flynn offers more options in terms of shafts and set up. Most juniors in the South East region where we play (and at worlds) use USKids.

My daughter 7, plays a 54" series 2b and noticed it was better than the 2 so far in the few weeks since she put them into play.   Her ball striking is a lot better since we made the switch.  I will always lean Flynn over us kids due to custom options.

Did you notice the extra weight to be helpful or is the bigger head on the 2b. I'm not sure if should just buy some 2b heads or just extend her series 2 clubs a 1/2 or 1 until Flynn comes out with his new line next year?

The 2b's aren't too heavy for a 7 year old?

not mine. She big for her age and strong. She hits the 2b better than the 2. I just bought an 8 iron for a while and then started keeping in her bag.  Noticed the turf interaction was better for her and had it at her lesson, her coach told me to go that way. My kid is odd, heaver heads = better contact and more consistent. No idea why but it works well. Honestly since making the change its the best I've seen her swing. She about 2 clubs longer with them as well.

Mike coming out with new stuff?
