Good afternoon. I'm looking at getting one of my clubheads refinished, a Miura Giken PP-9003 GW head. The refinisher asked if there was an insert on the back. If there is, they can't refinish.

Anyone know what this is? If it is an insert, why does the regular Miura PP9003 not have the insert? Thanks!

No insert on the PP 9003 that I am aware of. Should be fine for refinishing.

Is this just a badge?

Yes, that is just a badge.  It may be affected when refinished but I doubt it.  To be on the safe side, I would suggest removing it and then gluing it back after the refinisher is done with the irons.  A little heat might help get them out.  Of course you do risk bending or creasing the badges when removing.

What type of glue would I use to re-attach?
