Love my Miura 53 and 59, Y grind.

My Mizuno MP 25's (had 18 months) were my first foray into forged cavity backs...played pure blades for 30 years.

The MP 25's are a good combination of forgiveness and SOME feel.  I'm thinking that the Miura CB-1008, for example, would have the same forgiveness and MORE feel.

Thoughts?

Advice?

Thanks.

Just get the baby blades and be done with all other irons.  Best.  Clubs.  Ever.  No other clubs are easier to play and none feel as good.

Maybe avoid doing a google image search on 'epon copper irons' or 'OnOff Kuro 2015' amongst others...   :swoon:

Have a set of epon af302 and onoff 2017 kuros

Like the look of epons better but onoffs feel much better to me, and slightly easier to play....

Granted I have epons in a kbs which I don't really get along with but still, the onoffs are superb....just headshape is little different than I expected

Really wanted the CB 1008's but they are just out of my price range. Also looked at the Japan-only MP 66's with Yoro craft finishes.

I was in the opposite boat as you, I picked up the passing point straight necks by luck, and then followed with a K grind wedge, and now an MG hybrid.

Feel is obviously subjective, and for me these just flat out work.   I personally like feedback when hitting a club so i know if mis-hit, and these give you that.  They're not overly punishing (depending on your strike), a good combination if you will, and when you pure a shot, you'll know it; a completely different feeling.  If you can find a shop that carries them, I'd say to test them all out and go with what you suits your eye, and gives you the most confidence.
