Seems there are a bazillion 340g available vs the limited number 350g. Im looking for 350g  beater while i send my tel3 out for refurb. Should i continue to look for the unicorn  350g or settle for the 340g. Im sure the tel3 is lighter than 350g so im not sure if that 10grams will make a huge difference . Any thoughts?

Most of the 340g Mil Spec heads seem to weigh about 345g ish. A small strip of lead tape and you have a 350g head.

I had a 340g head that weighed around 345 (as Scotty1140 said.) I added a tip weight when I installed a new shaft and it felt identical to a head that I know is 350g. The Tei3 should be 330g, the long necks are around 4-5g heavier, normally. If it was me, I'd get a 340 and save a couple hundred bucks.

FWIW, and I know this is very subjective, I prefer the 340 mil specs over the 350's. At 343-346 the 340's are the perfect weight for me.

Curious why you prefer a 350 over a 340 if the purpose of this putter is to be a temporary substitute for a 330-gram-head putter?

Thatís only because people now think 350 is more standard and 340 is too light.  If youíve been using a TEI and are accustomed to it, I donít know why youíd be trying to find a 350 unless you donít like your current putter

Well its a head game with the lead tape...thats why i was looking for the 350g didnt want to have to add anything.
Love my current putter ive used it exclusively for more than 10 years, i just wanted to see if i would be any benefits from the heavier putter.

It definitely will in a putter.  I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it will definitely make an impact

What negatives are you experiencing with your current putter that your looking to improve upon?

I've got two 350's and one 340. I game the 340 but the 350's tend to just stay on the rack and look nice. I have a hard time telling the difference when rolling them.

340g > 350g

get one and strip to raw finish, add white paintfill and you're set

I would probably just grab a 340g... it's probably not worth the premium you're going to pay for a 350g... especially if it's only going to be temporary.

Resale on the 350g seems to hold it's value, so I don't think you can go wrong either way... Just depends how much you want to invest up front.
