I have an M1 in 9.5 degree.  Ball speed 132-135.  I have trouble turning the ball over with this driver.  I hit a nice draw with my irons and fairway woods, but not my M1.  I'd like to hear your thoughts on this setup:  Change hosel setting to 3 degree closed which would increase my loft 1.5 degree,  then move both weights to the rear slider and position them all the way forward to offset the change in loft.  Thanks.

Why not strengthen your grip a touch? Quicker and easier.

What shaft? Maybe a bit too stiff?

That sounds like a good start, you can always put the weights in the front track as well if you REALLY want to get them forward. If you're launching the ball too high you can always bring the loft down a touch and move weight more towards the draw bias side. At what i'm guessing is a 90mph swing speed based on your ball speeds loft is definitely your friend so don't worry about trying to compensate too much.

What's the playing length?   If it's stock, and you want some help being able to turn the ball over, shorten the  playing length.  That will likely help more then messing with the weight positions.

The shaft is an Aldila NV 2KXV Orange in regular.  My 3 and 5 woods are YS6+ stiff and Fubuki stiff.  I have no problem with those.  If I take 1/2 " off the shaft might that help?  Thanks.

Choke up and find out - but don't be afraid to go more then 1/2".

If that doesn't help, that shaft is quite a bit softer then the fairway shafts. For some people, feeling "too much" load (it's a feel, not a real) then what they are used to feeling can cause the release to stall or slow down, which can make it more difficult to turn over.

Also get some foot powder spray (or impact tape) and check the face impact location, consistency and miss tendencies.   Heel side misses will be difficult to turn over.
