Bout time for some new wedges...I've had my 58* scratch since they came out so its a bit wore out, probably explains the increase in distances lately. My 54* vokey is about half the 58's age and likewise getting worn.

Going to be looking at getting a new 54/58 setup.  I am a digger and the bunkers around here in good condition are fluffy, or most other days packed, heavy and wet or dirtpan

2016 M1 9.5 tuned to 7.5
TM r15 3 wood
Adams Idea Pro 2h/4h
Mizuno JPX 900 HM 5-GW
Vokey SM7 48* F Grind
Vokey SM7 54* F Grind
Vokey SM7 58* M Grind

Lots of hype around the SM7 and people seem to like the hi-toe for around the green and bunkers

Hi-Toe is a great wedge. I'm actually surprised just how good they are.

Other than that, Vokey, Mack Daddy 4, Edel are all good options.

Callaway W grind, these have changed my game.

Perfect for a digger like me with still just enough playability to open it up around the green with 58 and 54 is bested only by Nike toe sweep out of the bunker but is so much better everywhere else it's not even close.

as you can see, everyone has a different answer. Go out and demo a few at your local big box and see what suits your eye/feel.

I've got an S18 en-route after my brand OCD got the better of me and I had to have wedges to match my JPX900s.

The CBX is still incredibly good out of bunkers.

Mizuno S18 wedges

I custom ordered a set MP18 ( was told I get free a free wedge so they custom ordered me a Mizzy S18 50)

I mostly played vokey last 10 years, right now I have Miuras...

But probably one the best wedges ive ever played, I seem to hit the right trajectory always which is translated to great distance control.

Didn't take long to know it was the best wedge in my bag and next I ordered the 54 and 60, honestly had no intention of buying mizzy wedges this year since I just picked up the miura on here from fellow member.

Not as high-end, but I have been thrilled with the Ben Hogan Equalizers.  Head heavy but great feel and consistency.  Grind & bounce make them very playable and versatile.  Played Hogan TK15 since they came out, love those, too.
