I found that focusing on trying to flatten/bow my left wrist at the top caused my swing to get a lot tighter at the top. Then I became so enthralled with that idea that I stopped turning my shoulders enough. :) So now I'm thinking about flattening my wrist at the top, but also reminding myself to make a good shoulder turn. This is working well with my irons.

Once I get a third thing I will be well and truly screwed!!

For me its making sure 1 piece takeaway where arms stop when shoulder turn stops, with no arm over-travel.  That give me the flat left wrist feel and keeps everything in line.
