Wet towel is key, along with a retractable brush.

I use a used Toothbrush as well.  I drill a hole in the handle and attach it to one of those spring loaded retractable wire devices for keys.  When the brush gets ratty, put on a "new" used toothbrush. 2 or 3 times a season.

I Hang it on my bag next to my wet towel. wipe with wet towel, brush, wipe with towel.  about 5 seconds.

I wet one end of my tri-fold waffle towel and usually, that's enough.  If it's not, a tee does the trick.  I used to keep a brush on the bag but when the retraction mechanism broke I never replaced it.

I love the D-Brush. Fits in your pocket, don't have to mess with retractable cable, don't have to be next to your bag to use it.

Wood tee and wet towel. Doesn't get any simpler or less expensive.

I played with a guy that carried an electric toothbrush in his bag to clean the grooves with. He still used a vigorous brushing motion when cleaning the club though, I sure he could of got away with using a manual toothbrush.

I see every Tour player’s caddie carrying a wet towel to clean the clubface and wipe grips. If that’s good enough for them then it’s good for me too!
