Going to Myrtle in a few weeks and it will not be with my usual golfing crew.  More of a family vacation.. still taking the clubs but was looking to see if there is any practice areas that are open to the public.   I know there are driving ranges but was looking for something with a short game/putting area as well. No issue paying for range balls at a course but did not know if they frown upon someone not actually playing the course that day using their facilities.

If they sell range balls, you don't need to be playing there.

Legends, Possum Trot, TPC have good practice areas.

If on the south end Tradition is excellent. Large range, multiple targets, two practice bunkers as well as a large green to chip and putt

Barefoot's not bad. Not much in the way of a putting green but good short game area and lots of grass. Plus, it is lit up at night.
