$400-$1000...

No thanks.  Far Too many great shaft cost less than 4 bills.

People should understand that A lot of equipment designed for the Asian market is expensive just for the sake of being expensive.

There is a status component to equipment directly tied to price.  If you play at a club that costs a couple hundred thousand to join, you are expected to carry extremely expensive clubs. It’s been a very Japanese thing for a long time.  China is starting to see this trend with their ultra rich as Golf gets more popular there.

There are posts about these shafts on GolfWRX:

but the posts above me say it pretty well. They may be good or even great shafts, but there are surely cheaper shafts that will perform the same.

I have a couple of those shafts in a driver and 3 wood........absolutely beautiful shafts.
The Driver shaft is one of a limited edition 500 made and all sold for $1000...mine came in a PXG driver.

Better than other shafts?  Haven't tried everything else but these flat out work well for me.

I have an Alpha 60 gm. stiff.  It plays to flex for sure.  Flight is mid with lowish spin.  Flight is a little lower than my Tensei CK Pro Orange with similar spin.
