Hello all,

What type of player do you consider yourself?

I consider myself to have a strategic approach. By that I mean I will purposely set myself up on each hole to try and give myself the best angles or approach shot.

e.g- Par 4- 390 yards-trees and water hazards all over- I would tee off with a 3 Hybrid (220 yards roughly) which would leave me 170 yards in for a 7i or 8i depending on if I want to attack the pin or leave it below the hole etc.

Aggressive.  Donít understand being afraid of a pin placement.  When you putt as streaky as me you have to hit it close.

@Bladehunter - Its not that I'm afraid of a pin placement its just that I prefer to have a strategic approach to how I tackle each hole on any course. Its not like I'm laying up on a par 3 when I know I can attack it hard.

Bomb 'n gouge. Layup when I have too, can go strategic when needed but that isn't needed on most courses that I play.

I hit several strategic PW into every hole to make sure I'm very strategic about the whole thing. Then maybe an easy 9i for the last 200 yards once I know I've got it right where I want it.

I have an aggressive swing but a conservative mind set.

I'm trying to go the opposite with this. Last week, was off to a stinking start with former, then went to latter and made a birdie on a 190 yard par 3 and played solid for next 9 holes.

Essentially I'm see myself as an even keeled grinder but maybe I'm just a medicated bi-polar schizo.

While not very long off the tee, I do try to put my approach shots in an area where if I don't reach the green, I will have a decent spot to chip from. My goal is to minimize the impact of bad shots and try to have a decent shot at par on most holes.

I'm extremely conservative with my putter, long come-backers get in my head. With the all other shots I just use common sense and the amount of risky shots goes up or down depending on how I'm striking it.

Aggressive but not stupid off the tee, as long as I can go without putting myself in danger with a small miss, very conservative on approaches, aim for the center of the green and don’t try to get fancy, and s**t my pants when I’m putting because I will 3 putt anything outside of 20’ guaranteed.

If I could learn distance control and stick with a consistent set up, grip, and stroke while putting I could shave a handful of strokes off my index.

Boring type.

Bomb a drive, approach to within average length, 2 putt for par because I always burn the edge, eff you groundskeeper who always cut the hole on a slope, and move on.
