This one is tough for me to admit. My putter has gone belly up this past month. I went from a +3.5 to a +2.0. This past Friday I missed 11 birdie putts and an eagle putt. From the tips it’s 6900yds. I’ve shot 62 twice there and the record is 60.

What’s the most birdies you’ve missed in a round? I know it’s tough to answer!

Back in 2001, I hit all 18-greens in regulation. This was the first and only time I have done this. I shot an even par 72 with one three-putt bogey and and one one-putt birdie. Therefore, the answer to your question is SEVENTEEN missed birdie putts in one round. Ugh!

Similar story here: 18 GIR, 3 3-putt bogies, 3 1-put birdies = 72.  It was the only time I've ever hit all 18 greens, and I have three choke three-jacks!

That's certainly the question as phrased by a good player.

My best round included 6 pars and 2 birdies.  I never thought of those 6 pars as 6 birdies missed, but I guess that's my number for this one.

Probably fairly easy to have 18. I haven't but some good ball strikers can hit 18 GIRs.

18 for me.   Can't really say it was bad putting just hit all the greens and had somewhat lengthy putts on them all.

Can we talk about something else now?  lol

In one round?

The answer is 16. Had a horrendous number of putts that day, but it was one of those weird rounds where you hit a lot of greens and never get anything even remotely close to the hole. I hit 16 out of 18 greens in regulation, but I think every green I hit my ball ended up in the furthest possible spot from the hole that was actually still on the green.

the other day i hit my "record" unfortunately. Hit 9 greens (most I have ever hit in a round) and missed all 9 birdie putts haha. 3 of which were inside of 12 feet..... I know I'm not supposed to make those most of the time, but I would imagine at least 1 of those 3 would have dropped as it was at a course I know very very well.

Last Thursday, I missed 4 birdie putts on 3, 4, 5 & 6 then missed one more on 9 to shoot a 40. Man, what that round could have been. All birdie putts were inside of 20 feet.

In a tourney earlier this year, I missed 2 eagle putts and 14 birdie putts. I converted ONE of those two-putt birdies for a +3 73. A pro could have shot a no-brainer 65 on my ball :-/

I really have no idea but I'm seriously impressed by all the 18 GIR's in here.  I can't get anywhere near that GIR number at my home course.
