New to the world of Scotty Cameron putters, never owned one, but I know I like the look of the older, simplistic styles (studio stainless, mil spec, pro platinum). The mil spec has caught my eye and the 33" 350g should fit well relative to what I am used to. I just honestly don't know what is a fair price when browsing. Thoughts on this refurbish? Seems like even the ones that need a refinish are still looking for ~$200

This one looks really nice.  Look through completed ebay listings to gain a sense of market value.

This is great advice. Filter a search to show recently completed auctions and see what they're going for in a true open market. Also, don't be afraid to reach out via PM to members here who have sold similar putters on the BST. Most would be happy to help you out and share what they've sold for if you let them know your intentions.

The 350g ones claim a premium.  Looks like a nice refinish.  Getting them refinished can be pretty expensive especially if you go through the Scotty Custom shop.

he's not making them like he used to so the older heads are being snatched up - along with the value of them going up. hard to gauge but seems a 350G Mil-Spec head runs about $200-300 depending on the condition of course.

$200 is a good price for 350gram head.

I sold a brand new mil spec for $300 and that was a less desirable 330 gram head

Thanks for the advice everyone. So $200 for the head and then refinish would probably be minimum $150ish probably closer to $300 from SC?
This one ends soon and I’m keeping an eye on it. Price point seems reasonable and I’m a fan of the color scheme they used.

Yeah for basically the same price, give or take, than a new SC, I feel like this was the right choice for me. Again I appreciate the feedback from everyone, looking at the recent sales gave me a good indicator for pricing.
This was my first post of the site too; I have lurked around in the past and now look forward to participating a bit more.

Solid deal.

I sold a 330g 35" in decent but not refinished condition with my own paint-fill, replica Matador grip, and un-branded replica Jackpot Johny headcover (listed as such, sold on Facebook BST) for around $200.  For a 350g in refinished condition, the price is solid.

The putter in the pictures sold for $401, right?

I think the wording in the OP was a bit confusing. But those putters in 350g don't sell for just $200.

Sorry, yeah, going through the posts, it probably was a little misleading/confusing. I paid $401 for the one pictured. The other numbers i was throwing out were being used for if I COULD find a 350g for ~$200 and the associated costs to get it refinished.
I was trying to justify the $400 was a good price, and from the research and everyone's input, it sounded solid. Bonus that the refinish work that was done is very much my style.

Just received. Thoughts on condition for price? It alluded/appeared that it was just refinished before sale, but it has some dings, so i was a little surprised. Has a return policy. It is a gamer though, so it will probably get some small wear before too long anyway...Really is beautiful in design and feeling...

WOW, I have a feeling the pictures you put up in OP were taken right after the refinish and has been used for a while. Those dings except for the on on the top line are not visable in the pictures above. At least I can't see them.

The pictures in the OP definitely seem very flattering.

I think I'd be pissed if the description or photos didn't mention the dings on the face.

The ones in the face show their original pictures is not the same condition as the putter they shipped. Thought call if you really love it but if the true pictures were in the listing I’m guessing your top price would have been different.

That is not worth 400.00 in the condition pictured.  Hopefully the seller will work with you on this one.

Yeah that’s what bothers me more than anything, the price paid. I would have maybe done like 325ish? but for 400 I was expecting freshly refurbished. I already contacted the seller, and he told me just to let me know what I want to do. Didn’t offer up any money back, but I didn’t ask yet. At least there’s no problem with a return/refund. Just frustrating because of how excited I was to pick one up, oh well. Thanks for the feedback guys

Other than the face and the top and bottom line dings shown in the pictures, everything looks like the original pictures. Some scuffing on the bottom from normal use. Original shaft, newer grip, small pinhole in headcover.
Iíve gathered a little more info too, and if any of the experts have some advice Iím all ears. According to Ken at Kickstand who refinished it, he said the face was milled during the refinish; not sure how much difference this makes in overall value/feel.
Whatcha think

If the face was milled during the refinish that would significantly affect the value. Even in excellent condition, $400 is half way to a button back, and I own multiple 350g milspecs...

Right on. That’s what I assumed. Learning a lot. One reason I looked at one with some sort of return policy as well. Dude left a fair amount of important info out of the pictures and description (face dings and the fact the face was milled)

it looks like originally milling to me. depending on the before photos - I would guess that the milling could be original. mine looks identical but the Mil-Spec line had very inconsistent millings OTR. another reason why i think it's original milling is the edges of the face showing where it was buffed/sanded.
