I'm strongly considering this shoe as well. I have the BOA on a different pair of FJ and love them, but diggin the looks of the new Tour S.

I think getting advice from guys who are sitting at the computer in their underwear while taking a break from porn is a very solid way to choose clubs. - bluedot

another boa lover here.  besides the obvious fit differences, they all have a different feel to them so it all depends on what you're looking for.
imo, the tour s has the most "stable" and firm underfoot feel but with a comfy upper, the eqt has the most plush underfoot feel while still maintaining good stability and the biom's are sort of in between for under foot feel with a nice, plush upper while still having a very stable base.
i know it gets old hearing this, but can't really go wrong with any of those options, just depends on what fits you best and what feels best to you.  if you don't mind going spikeless, the biom g3 boa is also one heck of an option and can be had with discount codes on shoes.com.

Have a pair of FJ Hyperflex with the BOA system.  Wish I could get every shoe that interests me with BOA, just awesome.

The Tour S didn't strike me from an appearance standpoint.  I have not tried them on, although being FJ they've got to be comfortable.  Since Tour S didn't strike me I went with a pair of FJ DNA's (regular shoe strings) on closeout.  Couldn't get them in the BOA in wide so had to settle for regular shoe strings but they are darn comfortable!

what wizardry are they putting into the tour S to justify that price tag? to be honest, id rather splurge for a new pair of ICONs than buy the tour S.

i have FJ freestyle, hyperflex, tour joy, dnas etc. but 250 for the tour s seems steep.

i have some FJ credit and im wondering if i should find out hwat all the fuss is about?

Skechers Focus or Pro2.  I like some cushion though.  Love my Footjoy Synr-G that they don't make any more.  Very stable, and comfortable.  Have not foudn a FJ since that was as good.  The Boost lack comfort IMO, very baron inside without padding.  ASICs were great - discountinued....

Made me look though - just bought a "new" pair on the bay!

Stability. You wont probably find a finer, more stable shoe to wear sans metal spikes.

I've had 3 pairs of shoes with BOA closure and really liked them all.
This season I couldn't find the style that I wanted so I tried something else.
So instead of buying BOA, I bought a pair with regular laces and replaced them with these.
https://www.ebay.com...872.m2749.l2649

I like them even better than the BOA cause I can slip them on, give a quick cinch, and they're good to go.
Maybe 1 out of 3 rounds I will have to redo them mid-round.
