There is going to be so many lubricated fans succumb to the heat due to trees only on the perimeter.

They raised the mowing heights ever so slightly and there's been some rain.

Yeah, I'm worried about fans dealing with the heat. Weather is really warming up here now. Add a few beers into the mix and it could get ugly.

Ugly would be a nice way to describe it. There’s no relief from the sun save the portable structures

Course looks incredible, love an open design like this.  This event could start to draw a better field now that they've moved away from the previous venue. Exciting week ahead and this new course strengthens the run up to the US Open.

Throw in some temps in the low 50s, bake it out with dry conditions and its ready to host the British Open.  Looks like a fun course to play.

The undulating slopes (like 3) of Hole 17 are plain NASTY.

Hideki's 43' putt literally broke three different ways. Crazy.

Not a course that suits my eye. I like tree lined fairways or fairways lined with desert.

Can’t see them having it at Trinity for too much longer.

Take away the Crenshaw - Coore hype and this a very boring course...the scoring is low and despite all the hype the Pros are handling it well. I much prefer the likes of Riviera, Copperhead, Harbour Town or TPC Boston. Will wait for tomorrow's round 4 high lights

The only people who will say this course is boring are the people who haven't played it.  The course is phenomenal I expect it to be a mainstay in the Top 100 once it gets enough votes.  There's alot of subtle movement that's hard to capture on TV.

From what I've heard, TF only agreed to 2 years and then they want to work on getting a US Open or PGA Championship.  I heard the Nelson will go back to Four Seasons.  I sure hope these are unfounded rumors.  TF is a great layout and will only get better as it matures and the Tour lets the course play the way it's suppose to play, firm and fast.
