I hate to be the lone voice of dissent here, but I have a pair of these shoes and they are the most uncomfortable Ecco shoes that I have ever owned.  I love Ecco's, but I can not get these things to fit my foot.  I've tried different insoles and different lacing techniques, but they still end up blistering my heels.  I own several other pairs of Ecco, in both golf and dress shoes and these just don't fit ME properly.

I really wanted to like these shoes.  They are as well made as any other Ecco and I really like the style, just chew my feet up.

I ordered a pair during the sale I got them this past weekend.  I have a wide foot and have never tried on a pair of Eccos so this was a blind purchase.  The shoes seem nice and pretty comfortable but I think they are just a touch too narrow for me.  On top of that, I think they are a little long.  I normally wear a 10w if virtually everything - golf shoes, running shoes, etc.  I ordered the 44 which is for 10-10.5.

I also bought a pair of the New Blanance minimus 1005 (I think thats the model).  Surprisingly very comfy right out of the box.  Maybe a touch big lengthwise for the size.  I think Ill end up keeping the NB and returning the Eccos.

I always order a size smaller in Ecco's.  I'm a 10.5 in every other shoe, but order 43 in Ecco's.  Mine fit me fine...until I try to walk.  I think it is because they are so flipping stiff.  I keep trying to wear them (just stubborn) hoping they will break-in.

Did they raise the price, or am I missing something?  Shows $99.98 for me.

Anyone have any experience with the waterproofing on the Cage model?  The last pair of Eccos  I had (Bioms as I recall) had to be returned because they were "water resistant", not water proof.  I see it lists a 2 year waterproof warranty, but just checking to see if anyone has any first hand experience.

OK, that makes sense, although usually when stuff goes on clearance they don't have "sales" or raise prices?  Oh well, still a great deal, just not sure if I trust their waterproofing but might have to give it a shot.

Just got mine (decided to give them another shot as they are some of the most comfortable brand of shoes I've ever worn - whether it be golf/dress/hiking boots), haven't had a chance to try them on yet to check fit, but did notice first look out of the box they have some type of "scratch" on the outside part of left shoe.  It may be an imperfection in the leather itself, and at the price point not a deal-breaker, but were these advertised as Blems?

If they fit and are indeed waterproof I'll gladly wear them without bitching any more.  Anyone else received their's and received Blems?  And are they actually water-proof, or water "resistant"?

Just played 18 in mine in some really dewey/soggy conditions and they were fine waterproof wise.  Might actually order another pair in black if they still have them in my size.  See that they're back down to $80 now.

Id say the fit is normal to slightly wide. If possible try a pair on somewhere to find your size. I usually wear 8.5, wear 9 in most asics & Nike & go 41 in Ecco (think Ecco says their 41 = 7-7.5).

I find their golf shoes fit a bit narrow through the "foot", but are wider in the toe box, if that makes any sense?

I normally wear 13's in Adidas/Nike golf shoes, and mine are the 13/13.5.  They are a smidge long, but I don't think I could get away with the 12/12.5 width-wise.  I would recommend trying to find a place to try before ordering online.

Also, I think different styles from them are made differently, as I have a pair of hiking boots that are marked "47" (U.S. 12/12.5) and they fit great both length and width.
