I recently picked up a used one of these in excellent shape.  At roughly 34-1/2" it has two 20 gram weights and a counter-balanced grip.  I intend to take it to 35-1/4 with 10 gram weights (7.5 gram if I can find them) and am mulling options.

Has anybody had anything that simple done at the Scotty shop?  If so, what is rough cost?

I'm not a collector (and generally not a Scotty fan...) so I don't care about authenticity and what not.  There are quite a few aftermarket weights available on the net.  Can anybody provide a recommendation?

Finally, I seem to recall reading that removal of the shaft from Cameron post style putters can be tricky due to some unique post configuration.  I've tried googling to find similar sentiments but have not had any luck.  Thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks.

You said you don't care about value so here is my opinion:

Go to eBay and shop to your hearts content for aftermarket weights, while your at it, look for some Tamiya translucent paint in case yo want to change the color of the paint fill.

Paint fill change: Rub color off with acetone, .99 cents at Walmart, use fingernail polish to change color, they have many unique finger nail polish colors also at Walmart, very easy to do, use a toothpick with a little paint and fill in letters, you can even overlap colors, rub off paint with acetone moist q-tip,,, you can do all this for less than shipping cost to the shop.

Shaft removal is like any other putter, your thinking of old PINGS.

^^ Thanks.  Appreciate the feedback on the putter shaft change.  Got around to calling Custom Shop the other day.  Nearly laughed out loud when they quoted the price to replace the shaft...  My first inclination was eBay for the weights and a shaft extension - believe that's the route I'll take.
