Watching PGA Tour Live and saw that he has the DI with the M3/4 head.  Can't really tell but I'm guessing M3 from the glance I saw.  I knew he testing Ping G400 as well.  Any one able to confirm?  Sorry if this is an existing topic.

Iíve always wondered why Srixon staffers donít play their woods. Theyíre honestly great clubs that can hang with any manufacturer.

it's usually "X" number of club deal, 8 club, 14 club, etc. Specifics are usually worked out during the negotiations. Very few companies (PING comes to mind) do  a 14 club deal anymore, unless they're a flagship player, like Day for Taylormade, etc.

Probably the same reason Mizuno staffers don't game their drivers, their forged irons are fantastic (965,765, and 565 and the 45s) but Srixon and Mizuno drivers just don't give the numbers TM and Callaway drivers do.

The most popular mixed bag you'll see on tour will be TM Woods, Mizuno irons, and Vokey wedges.

This is why I find it interesting when he puts something new in the bag. How long will it last? Top players generally aren't tweaking things at this point in the season (other than putters), so Hideki is giving us fanatics some material to follow :D

Tony Finau has an 11 club deal with Ping.

Don't doubt that, but how long has he been with PING? I was talking historically. If anything, it's a sign of the changing times. PING used to be basically top to bottom back contracts from what I recall seeing. 13 club as the other poster above mentioned sounds right.

you're going to see more and more club deals requiring less and less, especially because of the exit of the soft goods company's owning the hard goods comanies. Contracts are going to be more loose in years to come.

Just thought it was an interesting stat to brag about given the comparatively poor showing in the top 3.

Didn't his ratty GBB finally break and the reason why he's testing other drivers?  I believe I read somewhere Cally gave him a new TC GBB but it wasn't the same.
